UTM CAMPUS EXPERIENCE

After finishing Higher Secondary Examination in my country, I decided to do my bachelor's degree in a different country. Leaving my family,friends and the environment i grew up wasn't something i was ready to let go but I decided to do it anyway because of the endless opportunities I found in Malaysia. Since I decided to study abroad, I was looking forward to study in a top tier university in Malaysia. I came to know about UTM from one of my father's close associate who is currently living in Malaysia. Then I applied online and received a offer letter within a week. Finally, the day arrived when I had to leave my family behind to come to Malaysia. I arrived at UTM on 27th February,2020.

At first, I had to complete few procedures related to my registration in UTM international. After that, I went to book a room in KLG ( formerly known as Tun Gaffar Baba Residence) which is a private campus residence and is located right on the boundary of UTM. I am impressed with all the facilities provided by KLG. Then I went to Pusat Kesihatan UTM to complete my medical checkup. I was impressed with all the facilities they had in there for the treatment of the students. It was a hectic day for me since I didn't have enough time for taking rest upon my arrival in UTM. But the day ended well with a decent sleep. 

The next day I woke up a bit early. I was excited since I decided to roam around the campus and get to know about all the beautiful things in my campus. I was amazed by seeing the beauty of this campus. I consider myself lucky to have been a part of this campus and I hope to make good use of it someday. I must say the UTM lake itself is enough to refresh our minds. The beautiful nature of UTM reminds of the quote, "The poetry of earth is never dead."

I was mesmerized by the serene nature of UTM. 

There are many restaurants inside the campus. If you love travelling and visiting new places then you need to adapt yourself with the type of food you'll find there. And Alhamdulillah I was able to do that.

The tuesday market of UTM is quite a unique place to visit inside the campus.

One of the attraction inside the campus is the mosque. The Mosque is located in the center of UTM which also makes it the center of attraction inside the campus.

I am delighted to be a part of this campus. This dorm and campus life made me well aware of all the duties and responsibilities I have as a student and as a human being. This new chapter of my life is different since I never had an experience of staying out of home for a long time. I have been living here for almost 2 months and I have enjoyed every single moment this campus has offered me. I hope it stays the same till the end.
